Thank you for your interest in employment with Happier At Home – Spring, TX!

Our pre-employment process is performed in three stages:

  1. From those who have expressed interest in employment, we will invite applicants to interview with one or more members of the management team. This interview will be conducted in person when mutually convenient; however, we will also conduct this preliminary interview by phone or virtually, via Zoom or other online video teleconference system. We will discuss your background and experience in caregiving and other fields, describe what Happier At Home – Spring, TX requires of its employees, and ask and answer questions of each other. If we are interested in having you formally apply, and you still wish to be considered for employment, we will proceed to the next step in the process.
  2. As soon as possible following the informal interview, Happier At Home – Spring, TX will email you several documents for review, completion and/or signature. These documents include detailed job descriptions, authorizations to perform various background checks, permission to contact references, the “formal” employment application, and related documents. We will send an email with all documents to print out, manually complete, and return to us via email or fax. All documents must be thoroughly completed and returned in a timely manner (preferably 1-3 days) in order to be considered further.
  3. After the management team has completed its review and received all background checks and references, eligible applicants will receive a conditional offer of employment, and invited to complete the final phase of the application process. We will schedule a time and date for you to come to our office and complete additional documents that must be submitted in person. You will need to provide appropriate documents for completion of the I-9 form (driver license, social security card, passport, work authorizations, etc. as applicable), verification of valid driver license, evidence of valid auto insurance, evidence of current TB test, consent or declination of Hepatitis B vaccination, and similar documents. You will also complete a drug screening (saliva test) at this time.

Upon successful completion of these last procedures and receipt of all test results, you will be scheduled for orientation, for which you will be paid. We can then begin scheduling you with clients based on availability. We realize that this is not a “quick hire” process, but believe that these procedures allow us to hire the best available caregivers.
