Andrea is a certified pharmacy technician who enjoys wearing many operational hats at their family-owned pharmacy. In addition to her work at the pharmacy, she also teaches at and owns a yoga studio in her small hometown. Raising three children alongside her husband David, she is rarely without an activity to attend, or someone to transport. In her free time, she started a Community Garden and Chamber of Commerce and enjoys sitting on committees to better the lives of those in her community and state. Andrea’s BA in communication studies from the University of Iowa provides the background to her connection driven businesses.
Happier at Home is in line with her mission to support people in their desire to live where they want to be, safely and independently. Andrea’s brother is an adult with disabilities who needs round-the-clock care. Knowing the challenge of finding care providers she would trust with her own family members serves to make Andrea even more determined in supporting you and your family with the same dedication.
David embodies the legacy of independent pharmacy ownership as a second-generation pharmacist. After graduating from the University of Iowa with his Pharm D and MBA, he worked in both community pharmacy and hospital pharmacy before coming home to work at the family pharmacy. David sits on many boards to progress rural health care through our hospitals and pharmacies. He is an active father and husband, keeping up with his busy family.

Jeff Scott, a co-owner of Scott Pharmacy, established the foundation of our family business and continues to prioritize community service, serving on the EMS team and sitting on the city council. A graduate of Drake University’s pharmacy school, Jeff is deeply invested in people’s well-being, providing affordable medications and lending a helping hand in various community endeavors. He is a proud father and grandfather, spending quality family time sharing his many hobbies.
Alyssa Orr, Clinical Staff Pharmacist joined the Scott Pharmacy team in 2021 after graduating from the University of Iowa with her Pharm D. Alyssa provides many clinical services at the pharmacy, including immunizations, and medication therapy management. Alyssa is a wonderful resource for questions, treating patients with respect and kindness. Alyssa is recently married and a new parent, not to forget her Bernese mountain dog and goats!
Josh Formanek, Clinical Staff Pharmacist joined the Scott Pharmacy team in 2019 after graduating from the University of Iowa with his Pharm D. Josh spearheads many of the clinical programs at the pharmacy, including medication synchronization, and medication compliance packaging. He is easy to talk to and will listen for any concerns or needs you may have, caring for them quickly. Josh and his wife, Keisha, have two adorable children and a loving goldendoodle.
